The top dawg for the teachers union (even though they don't have a union)in NC gave a speech at a raly for teachers, and in this speech he encouraged teachers to contact their representitives, much like we are doing.

That said, he told the crowd that the best emails are the short ones. These reps get hundreds of emails weekly and the ones that can be read quick are the ones that get the most attention. I took this advice and used it in recent emails I wrote to the reps on this site in support of bill HB-577.
