Alex I commend you for the initiative to write that reporter, Ms. Chou, and interest her in interviewing you. No one else can take this over from you since the reporter is interested in you and your story. The reporter will travel to you so you do not need to spend money to be interviewed. Your spelling ability did not keep the reporter from contacting you. The reporter is interested in you Alex and your story. The story might not get done if passed to someone the reporter has never heard of. I do not live in the viewing area so I would not be considered "local news". I cannot take over your interview but I can be there to help back you up. Perry is already known and would likely be turned down after so much coverage in the past. News is by definition new , like your story has yet to be told.
Please write Ms. Chou back and do this interview. However do not set up interviews you do not intend on doing or expect anyone to take over as this makes us all look bad
