Hello all!, and thanks for the great website and dedicated efforts to uphold liberty.
My name is David and I am 46, male, U.S. Army Vet. I was in basic training when Ronald Reagan air raided Ghadafi and my drill sergeant said we were going to be the first ones on the ground!!!

That motivated us but it never transpired and my enlistment was up before the Gulf Wars started. I have deep respect for all who have served and that is a major reason for my involvement in this cause. I can see by the many testimonials on this site that its hurting people’s health, sanity, and dignity to not have the meds they know are best for them. For gosh sakes, it’s just an herbal remedy!
As for medical cannabis, my soul pours out for my wife who really needs it more than me. She has severe RA (rheumatoid arthritis) and at such a young age is already impacting her ability to be active and energetic which is her nature. It not only helps her RA but helps with the side effects of the chemo she needs to keep her RA in check.
Personally I have suffered anxiety, depression, and insomnia as a result of aspergers (high functioning autism), which makes it difficult for me to socialize and this can be very debilitating in todays highly social culture and work environments. I had been on/off anti-depressants and prescription sleeping pills for a long time, then re-discovered one of the pleasures of my 70’s youth (cannabis) and was instantly off of the prescriptions; until the weed was gone. Interestingly enough, I don’t rely on the deadly, addictive RX drugs as much anymore (maybe that was the renewed self awareness and peace experienced by the MJ), but still need them as I don’t have access to cannabis other than going to ‘da hood’ and risking being criminalized or becoming a crime victim!
I like the outdoors, biking, am an intermediate guitar and beginning banjo player, happily married for 22 years, have 2 great kids and am deeply inspired by the bravery of the many supporters and organizers of this group.
I sincerely look forward to getting to know and be friends with all of you.
