Posts: 379 Thank you received: 382 Karma: 29	I only spent a few minutes looking, but the cheapest wristbands I've found are $68.99 for 100 custom bands delivered. If we want them made in USA (vs China where printing is free), it's an extra $0.15/ea band.

OK, here is my opinion of all of this. I think we are getting a little side tracked. The topic started out with us all getting shirts that match. Great idea and the color of the lime green will stick out great. I am confused as to where the wristband thing came in and what they would say and why we would need to spend any money on these. Ok the second thing is, if you really feel that the bands are necessary, we can make them for a little bit of nothing. If we can't agree on a shirt how are we going to agree on all the other things brought to the forefront. I may just be a little grouchy from detoxing,

but I don't understand all the different things we are trying to do. Will someone be kind enough to explain the wristbands to me. Are we going to hand them out, wear them, ????? Just askin...

KJ my friend this was really not directed at anyone specific. so I apologize if I hurt your feelings or anyone else. There was someone that wanted wristbands either on this site or another and I have asked what they wanted the bands to say. If bands are what we want to use or hand out or whatever the purpose, we can make them pretty cheaply, I was just wanting to know what we were wanting out of them. That's all no problem. Just askin...

Beccie I think we are all still brainstorming at this point. However all ideas should go in the lobbying day thread so we can keep them in one area. I am glad we are all so passionate about this. Take your energies and put them toward positive thoughts and ideas. A psychic once told me to use the anger I had toward my mothers killer and channel it into a positive thing. I never told her about it by the way she just knew somehow. She was absolutely right and that is how I am able to create websites, play music, carve wood, garden, graphic arts, and all the wonderful things I do. I am so proud of our small group and I love all of you. Let's do this!!

My 2 cents for what it's worth - I think any shirt with the NCCPN LOGO on it will be sufficient and the Green Ribbon just to add a little more pizzazz would be fine. I personally have the white golf shirt with the logo on it and to add the green ribbon would make it pop all that more and that is what we are trying to do to get the attention we want.

Another thing that I am doing for the big day is absorbing the cost to purchase the printing for our pamphlets. We need to hand them out to anyone who will take one. The only problem I have is that if we meet on the first week in February I may not be able to make it to the function. My wife and I will be heading out of the states for our 30th anniversay which creates a problem of getting the pamphlets to the event. Maybe someone from Onslow or Carteret Counties can get them from me before the event. So time will tell.

There is no greater tyranny than that which is perpetrated behind the shield of law and done so in the name of justice.
