Hopefully I'm not crossing any lines here, but I just took about 5 minutes and made a shirt on Vista Print. It costs $11.99 including color logo. I don't have a jpeg of the actual logo, so I used the logo I have on my profile for the purposes of introducing the idea up for discussion. This would save just shy of $10 a shirt. That $10 could then be donated directly to NCCPN (bigger donation), or for those who have already donated or can't afford to at this time, this would be a cheaper alternative. It's a white shirt, I understand, but it's half the cost. If we want to add the logo to the back as well, it's another $4.99, still cheaper and it gets our advertisement on both sides of the shirt. I am not trying to stir the pot, I'm only asking if this is a viable option for those of us that think $22 for a tee shirt is a tad on the steep side with our financial situations.




They also make all kinds of other things, pens, hats, etc.

Again, not trying to steer people away from the awesome gear shop on this site, I'm just asking if this is an option worth exploring to help save group funds and possibly have more money going to the donation pot.

I think this is a great idea. I have used vista print before and found that they put out a very high quality product and have competitive pricing.

Speaking as someone who lives on a tight budget who would love to get all the gear in the shop I have no choice but to go with this, plus they look awesome!!! Good work KJ!!!! I wonder why the old shirts the NCCPN had arent offered anymore, they were only 15 bucks, hold up well, mine still look great and hardly faded after over 2 years, and they are a cool design.

Thank you Bewell, I was only just wondering, I personally like all the shirt ideas, to bad I can only wear one at a time cause I do plan on getting a shirt or two from the shop and from anywhere else anyone else comes up with just cause I need me some new gear anyways, when I have no clue but it will be before lobbying day, I understand how and why 35% goes to the NCCPN and I think 35% is very fair, NCCPN needs funds thats why I will be getting some in the near future, Thanks again for answering all the questions as well, if it wasnt for you we wouldnt be on this site and I do appreciate it very much.

The shirts can be made on men's or women's shirts. However, if Bewell can find free or $10 shirts, that's a better route.

I had to buy my shirt just like everyone else. If you go to cafepress you will understand how we are able to offer these with no money from NCCPN up front.

Hey Fixr, nobody will have a shirt like yours at the Green bus tour. You will be the only one. YOU ARE ONE OF A KIND my friend, and I like that. Hey if you use a leave with a bud, to cover yourself, well you know, find the biggest bud you can.

I know we need funds for NCCPN but we need more recognition also. Has anyone considered using an iron on transfer sheet. You can print your shirt design on the transfer sheet with an ink jet printer and then iron it on your shirt. The transfer sheets are at arts and craft stores,office supply stores and Walmart. These could be made up and sold on the NCCPN site also. The designs already in use or your own exciting ideas can be posted online for download and printing. Is anybody interested in taking this job on? The job description is make a great t shirt design and share your designs with us at NCCPN.

Tom, I think it would be most effective if we have some solidarity. If we don't get the shirts I am working on free then we should do as you say but have one design that we choose on the same color shirt. Some have mentioned green ribbons also and some nice printed signs would be nice too.

I would like to see green wrist bands just a thought.
